The social tariff scheme was approved in Article 2 of the Royal Decree-Law 6/2009, and is available to private customers who live in their habitual residence and are signed up for the social energy tariff, provided they meet the requirements given below:
If you meet these requirements, and want to apply for the social tariff scheme, please fill in the form that is applicable to your situation and send it to our central office, together with the documentation that is listed in each form.
If you have signed up for the social tariff scheme, and would like information about how you are billed, or have any other query, please call Customer Services on 902 860 860.
Customers who have signed up for the social tariff scheme must inform their social tariff supplier of any change in their circumstances which would mean they were no longer eligible for the social tariff scheme. If you fail to inform your supplier of any such change in your circumstances your bill will be recalculated, starting from the date on which you ceased to be eligible for the social tariff scheme. In addition, a 10% surcharge will be applied to the bill issued to the customer immediately after the supplier became aware they were no longer eligible for the scheme.
